Impressive track record in genomic and bioinformatics research and technology development. His lab houses the latest in high throughput next generation sequencing technologies and a team of experienced laboratory and bioinformatics scientists. Building an ever growing collaborative network of spanning 62 departments across Texas A&M system, and a rapidly growing list of international collaborators ( 42 countries) and industrial partners. Founding Executive Director of the Center for Bioinformatics and Genomic Systems Engineering (CBGSE).
