Dr. Antao's current research interests are in nano-to-macroscale heat transfer, fluid dynamics, interfacial phenomena, and scalable fabrication and synthesis of micro/nanoscale engineered materials. He leads the Thermal Engineering Group at Texas A&M where fundamental research in these topic areas is leveraged to improve thermal-fluid processes and energy conversion efficiency in energy systems (conventional and alternative fuels, and solar), thermal management of electronic devices and water purification.
