Dr. Capik's research interests include the characterization, transmission dynamics, diagnosis, and control of Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD). She has investigated potential methods to mitigate stress in cattle, used behavioral monitoring to identify sick cattle, and evaluated diagnostic sampling strategies for BRD.
