overview

My research is focused on improving patient outcomes in equine orthopedic disease in the clinical setting using spontaneous occurring disease in patients present to the large animal hospital. The majority of my work has centered on the management of end stage degenerative joint disease and long bone fractures. Specific areas of interest include conditions affecting the proximal interphalangeal joint and management of fractures of the humerus and femur using intramedullary, interlocking nail constructs.
