overview
Dr. Jing Yang is a Senior Research Engineer working at the TEES Turbomachinery Laboratory. Dr. Yang's research mainly focuses on the numerical prediction (computational fluid dynamics and bulk flow model) and experimental verification of the dynamic forced performance of annular pressure seals and fluid film bearings. Dr. Yang serves as the associate editor for STLE Tribology Transaction since 2021, and session chairs for the structure and dynamics track-seal session for ASME Turbo Expos since 2019. Dr. Yang is an active reviewer for a series of journals (ASME Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power, Journal of Tribology, STLE Tribology Transaction, etc.).
