Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Mike is a playwright, performer, and deviser who has written eight full-length plays and numerous one acts which have been performed in six countries. His scholarly research investigates the role of student agency in devised theatre education. His academic work has appeared in journals such as Theatre Topics and ArtsPraxis. His monograph, "Student Agency in Devised Theatre Education: Creating Collaborative Dramaturgy in Virtual and In-Person Classrooms," will be available from Routledge in 2025.
