As Director of the Texas Water Resources Institute my focus is on working with faculty from diverse disciplines to develop and forward research initiatives that address many of Texas', the region's and nation's pressing water resources issues. This includes developing initiatives to better understand food-energy-water processes in a systems context, and to use this understanding to aid increasing the resiliency of our water and energy infrastructure.
