JoAnn DiGeorgio-Lutz is a Professor of Political Science and Department Head of Liberal Studies at Texas A&M University at Galveston. She is co-editor of Women and Genocide: Gendered Experiences of Violence, Survival, and Resistance. A Fulbright scholar to Jordan and Cambodia as well as a Fulbright Specialist to Cambodia, her research focuses on gender and memorialization as a mechanism of transitional justice in the aftermath of mass atrocities. She is the book review editor for Genocide Studies and Prevention: An International Journal.
